During half term i went to paris as i was invited to an art opening. a family friend Andrea salvetti has recently become one of italy's top designers and he was asked to be part of the 150th anniversary of Thonet's chair. the event took place in paris and featured many photographers work , sculptures and artists.
Some of the work Andrea was showing was from the milan food festival which he also took part in. this is a festival dedicated to the idea of mixing food with art. this particular peice of andea's is made out of cured meat, polenta, cheese and bread. it starts off as a cube but the idea is to eat it so as people come and take the food, new forms and new shapes are formed.

  1. Yum! Expand on the ideas explored here - how do they relate to your project / your own and the other works you have looked at? JM
